At Worthy People, volunteers are the heart of everything we do.
Whether inside a prison, leading a support group, or writing a letter of hope—every act of service helps someone discover their worth and purpose in Jesus.
You don’t need ministry experience—just a willing heart, a love for people, and a desire to see lives transformed.
Ways You Can Serve
Prison Outreach
Join us inside correctional facilities to serve during worship services, share testimonies, pray with inmates, or support behind the scenes.
Reentry Support
Help returning citizens navigate life after prison. This can include mentoring, resource connection, life skills coaching, or simply being a consistent friend.
Letters of Worth
Participate in our letter-writing ministry by sending notes of encouragement and Scripture to incarcerated individuals.
Event Volunteers
Help coordinate and run our in-person events, prison tours, and ministry outreaches.
Prayer & Admin Support
Pray for our team, events, and the lives we touch—or serve on our admin team to help the mission move forward.
What Our Volunteers Say
“I thought I was going in to serve them—but I came out more changed than I ever imagined.” “Being part of this ministry is one of the most meaningful things I’ve ever done.”
Why Your Yes Matters
Every time you show up, write a letter, or pray over a soul behind bars—you’re helping remove labels and restore lives.
You’re not just volunteering. You’re becoming family to someone who’s never had one.
