Welcome to Worthy People (“Organization”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.
By opting into the Worthy People SMS Program, you agree to receive text messages from us regarding ministry updates, podcast releases, outreach events, volunteer opportunities, and donation campaigns.
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting “STOP” to our shortcode. After you send the “STOP” message, you will receive a confirmation SMS that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you wish to rejoin, simply opt in again through our website or by texting us, and we will resume messaging.

Worthy People provides faith-based nonprofit services, including but not limited to:

- Volunteer Events and Training
- Faith-Based Reentry Resources
- Media and Testimonial Sharing
Our services are dedicated to sharing the hope of Jesus Christ with the incarcerated and formerly incarcerated, while equipping them for successful re-entry into society.
2. Engagement and Donations
Event Participation: Some events may require registration or approval.
Donations: All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Monthly giving, sponsorships, and one-time gifts are processed securely online.
Refunds: Donations are generally non-refundable. In rare cases, refund requests will be reviewed individually.
3. Participant Responsibilities
Content Submission: When applicable, users may provide testimonials, photos, or content voluntarily.
Volunteer Conduct: Volunteers must uphold a standard of respectful and Christ-like behavior during all outreach efforts.
Permissions: Participants agree to be photographed or recorded during events for use in our outreach and promotions, unless a written opt-out is submitted in advance.
4. Intellectual Property
Ownership: All original content, including podcast episodes, photos, videos, and promotional materials, are owned by Worthy People.
Usage: Materials may not be used for commercial purposes without written permission. Content may be shared for ministry purposes with proper credit.
5. Limitation of Liability
Worthy People shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, media, or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount of any donation made by the user.
6. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party platforms (e.g., YouTube, Apple Podcasts, Donorbox, Pando App) to deliver our services. We are not responsible for these services’ performance. Please review their respective terms and privacy policies.
7. Confidentiality
We are committed to protecting the privacy of our donors, volunteers, and participants. Personal information will not be shared or sold. Sensitive information provided for re-entry or outreach programs will be kept confidential unless consent is given.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be handled within the jurisdiction of courts in Bexar County, Texas.
9. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will take effect immediately upon being posted on our website. Your continued use of our services or engagement with our ministry signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.
